ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The Southern California Screenplay Competition Workshop is a two day screenwriting seminar that combines lectures & Q&A sessions.
We encourage writers from all backgrounds and all levels of experience to attend the workshop. Whether you’re a first time screenwriter or a veteran of the competition and festival circuit, you will find our workshop to be an invaluable, productive learning experience.
SoCal Screenplay founder, Theo Davies, will conduct the lectures. Theo is a screenwriter, director and producer, and his most recent film, ‘Wish Man’ is available to watch across all streaming platforms, and just finished a contract with Netflix. Theo is also a screenwriting and film production instructor with many years experience teaching both in London at Wimbledon College and Platt College in San Diego.
Statement by SoCal Screenplay founder, Theo Davies: "The screenwriting workshop will be an informal, intimate, interactive experience. We'll combine lectures, with open discussions between everyone in attendance. You will find the atmosphere inspiring and the perfect environment in which to learn and develop your craft.
